It is dust and waterproof to IP52 and withstands multiple drops from a height of up to 1.5 metres. The scanners also benefit from improved decoding functions, a powerful megapixel sensor, an additional laser aiming function and Acuscan technology - for faster scanning, even of OCR codes. For more flexibility, Newland offers the HR33 as either a wired or Bluetooth model.
