Datalogic has equipped the innovative space-saving imager with modern scanning technology, among others with their patented »Green Spot«. In addition to capturing hard-to-read, damaged and short printed 1D and 2D barcodes, it also reliably and quickly captures digital barcodes from smartphones or tablets (such as admission tickets and vouchers). Optionally, the Magellan 1500i also reads Digimarc barcodes, making it a highly versatile scanner. The Magellan has a scanning range of up to 30 cm.
