Print head for Citizen CL-S521, CLP-621, CL-S621, 8 dots/mm (200dpi) Citizen label printers are known for their long service life. Accordingly, large print runs result in high mechanical stress in the printhead: the thermal head is in direct contact with the passing label or transfer ribbon, which causes continuous abrasion. Once print results become faint or contain gaps, the printhead needs to be replaced. This may be done effortlessly and quickly with every Citizen printer and is absolutely cost-effective, as the printer lasts many times longer than a single printhead.
